I would like to spread awareness regarding a national and global issue. Currently, there are approximately 20-30 million slaves forced into human trafficking. These victims are trafficked for sexual exploitation, forced marriages, forced labor, removal of organs or domestic servitude; which generates a profit of $32 billion dollars annually. Although human trafficking victims can be men, women girls and boys, this crime against humanity affects 80% of women (half being children); the average age of a female child forced into slavery is between 12-14. Additionally, human trafficking is the 2nd largest criminal enterprise; next to drug smuggling being the 1st. Sadly, not even 1% of these victims are recovered.
